So here is what we did New Years Eve day. Scotty decided he wanted to build a little patio for his grill and new smoker (yup, my hubby smokes!). Nathan had great fun helping shovel and move the dirt.
And here is the finished product. I love it. My family came over New Years day and helped Scott finish it up. I am so proud of him! We are going to expand it and make a seating area. But we will have to do a little at a time. It is amazing what this 3 foot by 6 1/2 foot little patio cost us!

Yeah, stuff like that is pricey and adds up fast!! Looks good though. Wish we were there to help break in the smoker:) Maybe in May????

That look so good! What a pro-active husband you have! We always dream of completing projects like this, but hardly ever act on them.
