Happy Easter

We started out our Easter fun with a visit with the HEB Easter Bunny. Yes, Nathan was terrified of him. We eventually got Nathan to give him five.
Next we had an easter egg hunt with the once a month play group in our new ward. My friend Arianne took these pictures for me since I forgot my camera (Thanks again!). Nathan was way too busy opening and eating all the candy to look up. This is what we got when we asked him to show us the candy he got.

We spent our Saturday before Easter helping Dad rake up the leaves, and then of course we had to jump in them!

After jumping we decided we better help him clean them up. Nathan was such a big helper!

Next we spent Easter Sunday coloring eggs and finding them with my parents and brothers. Mom made a yummy egg casserole and we hid eggs for both Nathan and Jonny and David. It was a fun morning.

Nathan's favorite part was putting the funny face stickers on the eggs.

My very serious, intense little boy who won't pose for the camera when there is fun to be had!

"Where are those eggs?"
"Found one!"

"Oh, and another one!"

He continues to find eggs every day, and we have no clue where he finds them!

How fun! I was a bum for Easter this year. But fun traditions that you have! Ya Emma would have freaked out with the bunny too!

What fun! We had the same problem last year. Bradley kept finding chocolate from no where. He always had some, so this year we didn't buy the chocolate until after Easter, and only Andy and I can reach it!!

I love the pictures of Nathen decorating the eggs. He is so cute!

That's actually pretty funny that he keeps finding eggs around the house!!

He looks so grown up in these pictures! And Christine you look awesome! Have you lost more weight? Your arms looked so skinny too!

Looks like a great Easter weekend. And I'm with Nathan about the huge easter bunny, I think he's freaky looking too!

As long as none of the chocolate melts before it is found!

I'm excited to see your blog and to get to know you a little better. I was so sorry to hear about your Ethan, and loved what you said: "I'm the best mom ever, I already got one to heaven!" Awesome!

Hope to see you around in the bloggy world. I'm just starting up my MMSM carnival again -- would love to have you participate if you're interested.

Love your colors and stripes. Very springy!

Looks like you had a wonderful Easter and I enjoyed the pics of helping Dad with the leaves. It brought back a lot of fun childhood memories. If there is such a thing as a perfect family I think yours is the poster picture.
Love you! Kim

What a great helper Nathan is-I hope I can train my kids to help with the yardwork although I am sure that help usually begins with them making a bigger mess! I love the Elmo basket-how fun!

Nathan is getting so old! I can't believe it! He is definitely focused on those eggs. And I agree with Jazmin - ginormous bunnies are not my favorite thing. I think it's great you got a high five out of him!! :)
